07 | Video; Action for Goldenrod | Sweet sixteen

[ It's a lovely day in Goldenrod City-- okay no, it's cloudy and hot and gross, but that doesn't seem to bother the resident Wind Priestess. She can be found sitting under a tree in the grass somewhere, with all of her pokémon, save for Lidi the Lumineon. (She's still hesitant to let her fish out of water, as it were.) Some of them are quite huge, so they're not hard to miss.

A flock of Murkrow tired to make the tree their home, but they were chased off by the collective force of Talim's pokémon. Now they perch anywhere nearby, just watching.

Talim digs into her bag and begins pulling out... necklaces, of sorts. Each one is different- some are made with twine and wood beads, some are merely cloth bands, one is even a scarf. They all have one thing in common, though, and that is they each bear the the symbol of Talim's village on them somewhere. The same symbol that hangs around Talim's own neck.

She goes to each one of her pokémon and gives them their gift. Kalana the Dragonite gets the scarf, and cloth bands go to her Pidgeot, Alun. Beaded necklaces for the rest.

Talim steps back, and smiles. ]

Consider this a thank you, each one of you, for all of the help and companionship you've given me. As of today, you are each an honorary member of my village.

[ With that, she bows her head, and offers a little prayer to the wind. ]

I think I've decided to leave Goldenrod for now. I'm going to backtrack and hit the gyms I've missed. If anyone wants to come with me, they're welcome to. I'll be leaving tomorrow.

[ a pause, and she thinks for a moment ] How do you celebrate your birthday? Is it different back home than it is here? I'm curious, and I'd like to do something before I leave town.

Well... usually, I hang out with my friends for a while, and then my family also has a celebration and we do something special. Usually it's not that big, but there's always cake and it's really nice.
